Today marks the beginning of Christian Aid Week, an annual campaign that brings Christians together with a common purpose to achieve something incredible. This year, Christian Aid Week focuses on making childbirth safe for all mums and babies in some of the world’s poorest countries.

Here at St John’s, we have a number of activities planned to raise money:

• Today: tickets on sale for the Foodie Raffle
• Today and Sunday 19th: Church collection via donation envelopes
• Thursday 16th: Super Soup Lunch
(see church noticeboard for details and sign-up sheet)
• Friday 17th: Eltham Station bucket collection
• Sunday 19th: Circle the City Walk (details on noticeboard) and
cake sale in church

If anyone is able to help at any of the events, particularly the soup lunch, cake sale or station collection, it would be very much appreciated. Please speak to Fr Jim or Robyn Price.
